Services for Start-ups
From start-up to success
Because of my years in venture-backed, entrepreneurial start-ups in Silicon Valley, I appreciate how start-up companies—especially technology-based start-up companies—have unique needs compared to other new and growing businesses. Since moving to the Research Triangle area in 2001, I have helped several start-up companies establish their branding, market their services, and present to investors. I offer a suite of services specifically designed to help start-up companies ramp up and become successful.
Services for every phase of start-up development
- Presentations and white papers to support efforts to obtain initial funding
- Branding, logo design and collateral for launching the company
- Website with a secure, private area for potential investors
- Branding, logo design and collateral for new products
- Interface design for new technology products
- Content creation, design and management for online services
- Marketing collateral and trade show displays
- Social media and promotions for creating buzz
- Invitations for your IPO celebration
- Your first annual report as a publicly traded company
Flexible and cost-effective collaboration
One of the most challenging aspects of start-up companies is trying to ramp up quickly with too few people and too little space. Whether your start-up company is in your garage, in an incubator or in a suite of offices in RTP, I can work with you on-site or in my own studio. Depending on the scale of your project(s), I can work as an individual contributor, or recruit and direct a creative team. I can work with you intensively through a specific phase of your development, work on a part-time retainer for as long as you need…even help you find the full-time Art Director or VP of Marketing you’ll need to see you through the long term. For select companies, partial equity arrangements will be considered.
The Virtual Team Advantage for start-ups
Virtual Teams are an especially good solution for the challenges that face start-up companies:
- You don’t take on staff that you won’t need for the long term.
- You don’t need to provide office space or equipment.
- You can assemble a team with the specific experience you need.
- Because many team members work out of their home or small offices, you are not paying for the overhead of a full-service agency.
