Some businesses are fine starting out with a “brochure” website and are satisfied with the eight pages included in the Start-up Starter Website. Others, though, need more content or more features. With WordPress, there are literally thousands of plug-ins available for adding features to your website. We offer a few of the more popular features at set prices that can be added as options to the Start-up Brand Identity Package:
- Additional website pages ($75 per page)
- Photo gallery/portfolio ($750)
- Events calendar ($500)
- Social media integration ($250)
- Private “investors only” section ($375)
- Content slider w/3 slides ($450)
If your website requires other features not listed here, they can be added as well. We will provide you with a custom quote for any additional features during the Needs Analysis phase of the Website Design Process.
Most businesses need to be found on Google, and getting good search engine results can be an uphill challenge for a newly-launched website. There are many companies offering Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services. You generally pay a monthly fee, and a team of SEO experts work on monitoring and tweaking your website and website marketing to improve your results over time. These are wonderful services, but sadly, are too expensive for many start-up companies and small businesses.
We offer an SEO Basics option, which gives you a head-start on your search engine optimization. It covers the basic technical set-up for good SEO, and includes keyword research, page optimization, and Google Analytics set-up. You can continue to optimize your search engine results on your own, or, when the time comes you will already have the basics in place for an SEO company to take you to the next level. $750.
There is ample documentation for WordPress in the WordPress codex at wordpress.org, but there is so much that it can be overwhelming if all you want to learn how to do is update content now and then on your website. Also, the plug-ins that are added to WordPress to enable features such as a contact form, events calendar or photo gallery are not covered in the wordpress.org codex…and they may be the very items you want to update the most. The Website Documentation and WordPress Training option is customized for your website and your needs. This option includes a .pdf document covering all aspects of how to update your website, and includes two hours of training. Training is via phone and shared computer screen and can be done all at once or split into two sessions. The latter is recommended, as it is most effective to learn, try it yourself, and then come back with any questions. $750.
