Claire Doyle Ragin

Claire Doyle Ragin, in her red beret

Claire Doyle Ragin is a design and communication professional with over 25 years experience in graphic, broadcast and web design. In 2004, she founded Red Beret Design, a solo studio focused on strategic communication design. She is a veteran of several Silicon Valley start-up companies, an experience she draws on to help entrepreneurs and high-growth companies in their branding, communications and marketing efforts.

Ragin has spent most of her career on the bleeding edge of communications technology, designing on computers before the launch of the Mac and cultivating online communities before the dawn of social media. Ragin covered the explosive growth of digital technology in broadcast in her 10-year column in Television Broadcast magazine and in numerous hands-on reviews of design technology in Videography. She combines an enthusiasm for the possibilities of technology with an appreciation for the power of a simple message, strongly expressed.

In 2010, Ragin was awarded professional certification in Inbound Marketing by Hubspot’s Inbound Marketing University, with Honors Distinction for being in the top 15% of exam takers with a score of 90% or higher.

Ragin is president of the Independent Communicators Alliance, and a member of AIGA and the Center for Entrepreneurial Development.
